Crafted as a flavorful session beer, Bell's Octoberfest Beer is perfect for a week-long wedding celebration in Germany or the start of the Michigan autumn. As with Bell's Lager Beer, Octoberfest spends a full six weeks maturing in the fermentation vessels. Unlike its cousin, Octoberfest trades in the assertive hop presence for a focus on a light caramel malt note, lending body without too much sweetness.

Pours with a thick medium high orangish head. Seems to be lasting. Color is orange Amber, not crystal clear, slightly hazy. Same flavor but a little stronger than most of the other Oktoberfests I've tried, which I like. Finish is mildly bitter, dry, and over very fast.

Somewhat sweet aroma coming from this one. Taste has a malty sweetness along with a subtle breadiness. Very clean finish. Medium body with medium-low carbonation. I like this. Well made, in my opinion. 4/5

Toasted caramel malts with a little nuttiness. Pretty tasty. A solid 4
Looks like I had before but on tap at a local bar by my house. Tap was rated better
