A tous ceux qui rêvent de New-York, moi je rêve d’ici. Le plus bel endroit sur terre en été. Mais en hiver ce n’est pas en teste non plus.
(La bière vient d’un vol depuis NY, merci air france du coup)

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #22
Bottled on 11-17-2021
Bourbon, dark fruits, oak and chocolate in the aroma. Taste has bourbon, oak, dark fruits and chocolate in that order. The oak has a sort of ashy flavor, which lingers in the aftertaste and adds a bitterness that works with the bourbon and chocolate notes.
The body is full with a thick mouth-coating mouthfeel and an appropriately low amount of carbonation.
One of the best distributed barrel aged stouts out there. Always a treat, and it's awesome that there's never any disappointment each time I crack one open.
From the mouthfeel, to the aroma, to the taste, to the longevity, this is a solid 4.75/5

This is citrusy that leans towards orange and tangerine mainly with hints of pineapple. Has a little off putting taste to it. Bitterness is there at a medium level. Has a hint of caramel malt.
Overall it is okay. Something is off from the fruit perspective. Not one I’d seek.

This is quite malty that has a caramel/toffee taste. Has some fruit that leans towards berry mainly with some very light citrus. A hint of pine. Barely hits the light hoppy bitterness level.
Overall it’s pretty good. Close to a 4 but not quite there.
