Typical strong Old Ale but, surprisingly easy drinking. Golden coloured with subtle flavours. Good beer but be wary.

Not for me. Very little to offer in terms of flavour. Flat as a pancake. Didn't even finish it. Returned to the bar with a half full glass which the bartender remorselessly poured down the sink. Quite frankly the best place for it. Have let them off with half a star as it was ordered at a Wetherspoons so was probably off. Dirt.
