Wetherspoons Ale Festival 2018 (30) So far I’ve not disliked an Oakham. Unfortunately this will be my lowest rating so far for an Oakham Ale. Initial taste was good but then the high ABV kicked in and in a strange way almost tasted like an easy to drink spirit. Imagine having a shot of tequila, 1st one amazing but by the 5th shot it’s rapidly going down hill.
