5 mil is a dark strong ale named for the thickness of the wetsuits required to surf the cold dark sharky waters of the Pacific Northwest.  the 5 mil boasts Marris otter, Caramael, and dark chocolate malts along with a dose of molasses, using 100% Simcoe hops.  The result is a deep hardy dark ale with notes of raisin along with a strong citrus hop kick  to round it out.  Specially designed for lovers of the powerful but beautiful Oregon Coast, this big strong dark ale is all Coastal.  Currently only available seasonally at the pub in the old Seaside City Jail.
