The original version which inspired the series of the same name. It was first brewed with the Grove pub in Huddersfield to celebrate their birthday and in Roman times, Lucaria was a 'festival of the Grove’. It’s a truly decadent ice cream porter pouring pitch black with a beautifully rich mouthfeel carrying flavours of chocolate and vanilla.

Tuoksuu täysin mokkapalalta. Maussa yllättäen jotain punaista marjaa. Kahvinen ja suklainen, mutta turhan kevyt runko. Vaniljakin löytyy, mutta ei liikaa eikä parfyymimaisesti. Suht kepeä jälkkäri.

Todella hyvä portteriksi, vaikka kahvi maistuukin. Yllättävän kevyt ja makeahko. Muistuttaa lapsuuden ulkomaanreissuista, kun pääsi syömään vaahdon cappuccinon pinnalta.
