On a typically wet British Bank Holiday I was introduced to the concept of 'Hashing'. In essence running through the countryside like a pack of hounds following strange markers. Apparently it was started by British Officers in 19th century Malaysia as a way of shaking off hangovers. Best points - you start and end at a pub and get free beer in the woods half way around! I really want to love Good Chemistry - great concept, but they are yet to blow me away. This is a solid bitter/pale ale combo with some tang and plenty of malt. Nicely sweet with some decent hop notes - but I'd like more from this lot.
