Flight 1/6. Transparent, deep gold beer with moderate, short-lived carbonation releases a pure white, silky head that climbs up to half a finger's height and descends soon to a neat lace ring on top. Later, the surface becomes flat still. The nose experiences cured ham and a bit of smoked sausages, pretty much what I expected, though perhaps with a less meaty impression. The tongue receives a very mild smoky aroma, accompanied by the rather standard notes of thin malt and weak hops. The thin-bodied beer ends with light-hoppy pale malt that has been seasoned with a meager, smoky nuance. The aftertaste rolls on tongue for a short to medium time. The mouthfeel is light, even unfortunately somewhat watery, a bit earthy but also rather soft and smooth.
