The name Pitchfork comes from the Pitchfork Rebellion of 1685, the last battle to be fought on English soil during the Civil War.
Pitchfork Ale is a golden bitter made with two traditional classic English hops with a floral aroma. It has a hoppy predominate taste which is slightly sweet and fruity and leaves you wanting more.

Building up to the darkside again. Still a good drink. Obviously the same profile as before. Enjoyable drink and a good session ale

Cracking drink. Like a good old fashioned bitter. Malty aroma and taste with a nice hoppiness mixed in. Slight bitter aftertaste but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking session ale

Had a choice Wednesday, jiggers or the Swan. Choose jiggers, wrong choice. Both had 2 to 3 new ales on. Jiggers selection were good session ales, but so far I think that the two I could have had, fresh on wednesday morning, are a slight step up. Anyway back to what you really want to know, same profile as before. Enjoyable drink and very quaffable

Not a bad ale but fairly standard as far as golden bitters go.
