The smell is gently malted but not very expressive. .6 Nice caramel amber attack. .9 Then we have amber notes that develop further with toasty notes. .8 The aftertaste continues similarly. .8 Overall a beer that keeps its promises (amber/toasty/rich) but that could be more expressive.
