This Imperial Stout was barrel aged for 50 months in Marsanne and Paien white Wine barrels from Madeleine and Denis Mercier, local winery from our home city Sierre, canton du Valais, Switzerland.

It's strange. Almost as if it had been aged in some Islay cask and then had some wine added to it. Though this was actually aged only in white wine barrels. Unusual. Like Finnish pine tar candy. Flat / no carbonation.
On outo. Ihan kuin jossain Islay tynnyrissä olisi ollut ja siihen olisi lisätty jotain viiniä. Tämähän on siis tynnyröity vain valkoviinitynnyreissä. Erikoinen. Tervapastillia. Hiilihapoton.
