We are at Whiskey River Ranch in Texas for our annual SOTS reunion. This is our 36th gathering on the Guadalupe river. This is entry number seven into our best beer contest. This beer is scary because it's 12% and it's only noon here. I was going to save it for later but I got shamed into sharing it. The peanut butter came fast followed by the banana. Neither were artificial. Pretty well balanced with the peanut butter a little stronger. Only in the finish did a roasted quality emerge with maybe a little bacon in the background. Mostly just roasted. Creamy, smooth, good beer. Oh, that 12% doesn't try to hide either.
