Very good! 1 Overall that’s exactly what I expect from a rye bourbon English ale. It has spicy rye notes, bourbon notes but also malty notes of toffee and caramel. The bourbon also does not overtake the rest which is difficult to achieve but beautifully realized here. It’s then a complex and well balanced beer! (And we don’t taste the alcohol too!). 1
