This nightcap is murky, cola black. A porous bronze head grows one finger tall and descends rapidly to a hair-thin lace ring on the surface. Cherry is ample in the scent. I can also spot vanilla, graham cracker, faint milk chocolate and nut. The cherry gets even bigger on the tongue, it's juicy but loses some of its initial sweetness here. Vanilla can surely be observed, as well. Almond, graham cracker, a wisp of raw cacao powder, blackberry and a modest alcoholic tang close the gustatory chapter. The body is really full. Absolutely. Big. The end is full of slightly bitter cherry, maybe the peels or something? It dominates the palate strongly. Nice turned not-so-nice-anymore. The beer leaves a full, intense, deep, juicy, pastry-like and marginally alcoholic sensation in the mouth. Definitely lip-glueing! But not particularly balanced though.
