Daylight Chaser Dark IPA
6.3% Black IPA / Cascadian Dark Ale
As we emerge from nature’s slumber, Daylight Chaser is your sign that the equinox is near. This seasonal release starts with a complex toasty malt bill and dusky hue. Simcoe, Mosaic and Citra hops balance with radiant notes of blood orange and papaya. It’s a dark IPA yearning for the warm glow of longer days ahead.

Doing a double up. 1st can: this hits you with citrus up front that leans towards juicy blood orange with a touch of mandarin orange thrown it. Has a light+ hoppy bitterness. Malty side has dark roasted malt with bakers chocolate and toasted caramel. Can 2: Citrus is basically the same. The blood orange seemed a little toned down this time but just a little. Malt is basically the same but has more of a toffee taste instead of toasted caramel. Overall this is nice and different tasting black IPA. It has a unique taste to it that is a little different from the norm. Freshest by 5/28/26 date for 1st can. Freshest by 7/26/26 date for 2nd can. They were from different 12 pack variety packs.

Playing Duckpin bowling and didn't get a pic. Very tasty. IPA flavors with a subtle malt backbone.
