Okay, now yesterday's beer... Advent Calendar #️⃣1️⃣7️⃣ releases a murky, dark reddish umber beer. Timid carbonation. A light buff froth climbs two fingers high and dissipates to a thin lace ring. Medium-sweet malt, raisin, biscuit and dried plum can be spotted in the air. Not very powerful though. The gustatory sphere offers rather familiar flavors: sweet malt, date, raisin, dried plum, dough and a dry hoppy touch. Sweet-leaning, overall. Intriguing and predictable. The body is medium-full to full. The ABV would, nevertheless, require more. Ends with similar flavors with the exception that alcohol pops up a bit in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium-full, relatively deep, soft and smooth. Neatly balanced and, hence, quaffable. Enjoyable but the ABV should give more.
