Flight 4/4 (2) messes my series. But no can do, no more IPAs that I haven't tasted. Gotta take one in the dark side. And it's alright. Opaque black it is. A silky, pale fawn head. Dried tobacco leaf, burned malt, crushed raw cacao bean and rye flour in the air. The gustatory profile offers raw cacao powder, roasted malt, even burned malt, faint licorice root and a whisper of soot. Feels medium to medium-full, burned, dry and marginally warming. A pleasant if not seductive piece. Rather enjoyable anyway, especially at the not-so-high ABV level. Feels bigger than it actually is.
