Like orange peel and dried apricot. The Bamberg first impression disappears. Sour flavors and less prominent smoked malty elements on the tastebuds. Orange peel, dried apricot, peach flavored tea, grass, impotent biscuit malt. Now there's nothing even remotely resembling Schlenkerla masterpieces. Not a winner this one. Not that I expected. Feels light, zesty, slightly tart and modestly smoked. Starts nicely, ends lackluster. Okay, looks like this watering hole won't send me to the gates of heaven.
