Between 1809 and 1954 the Grolsch brewery was named brewery De Klok. The origin of this name lies in the early 19th century, back then when people left the church after service, the churchbells ("Klokken") rang and it was time for a cold one. De Klok is a delicious beer; not too sweet or too bitter. Brewed by men who know about beer. Just a good beer.
