A smooth, subtle fruitiness perfectly complements the rich, roasted malt notes. Smooth and malty, this is the perfect balance of flavour and refreshment.

I'd call this a bitter. Nice though, whatever the style.

Used to love Amber Adder (later on just became amber ale) from Lidl, and this is close from Aldi but not quite. The Lidl one had a peppery finish. This is smoother and more malty. Nice quaffable beer though.

Side by side comparison with old speckled hen
It has similarities but lacks depth.
Strange aroma to it aswell... Slightly unpleasant on the nose
But overall it's a pretty decent beer
Rather fruity, notes of raisins

Was expecting this to be a copy of Old Speckled Hen but it's darker and more malty. Nice though.

Dirt cheap beer from Aldi. Pours more like a bitter than a pale ale. Fairly light and one-dimensional, but very refreshing. Can't knock it for the price.

This is a very, very pleasant drop of stuff! "The perfect balance of flavour and refreshment" it says, they're not wrong!
