An amber ale hopped with two splendid German varieties, Herkules and Mandarina Bavaria on a malt base of Maris Otter, wheat malt, caramalt and rye. Expect spicy pine, black pepper and floral hints from Herkules combined superbly with mandarin and lemon citrus flavours from Mandarina. All finished off with a smooth and moreish bitterness. Collaboration with Fat Cat Brewery.

I enjoyed it the first time, so I decided to have another one straight after. Obviously, the same details as before. Still a good session, ale.

Cracking drink from Oakham. Nice citrus aroma. Creamy mouthfeel with a nice malty taste. More citrusy fruit taste mixed in with a subtle spiciness. Slight bitter finish, but enjoyable. Smooth and easy drinking. A good session ale, especially at the ABV.
