A lazy moment amidst outdoor work. Pretty warm, I would say. 🌞 Not sure if an Imperial Coffee Stout makes a good thirst quencher but that's what I have now. The appearance is opaque, bright black. Jet black. Shy carbonation. A stunning burned orange head decorates the surface for a while, and dissipates then to a hair-thin lace ring. Cold-brew coffee, roasted malt, lactose and a hint of cacao nibs constitute the olfactory universe. Not very layered. The taste profile proves to be quite intensive. Espresso, lactose, cookie, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, roasted oat flakes and a hint of licorice can be listed as the components. Very nice. I like the fact that this is not bitter, neither overly sweet. Coffee is not shy but not excessively extroverted either. The body is full. The finish is fairly similar to upfront, maybe the licorice intensifies somewhat at this stage. The mouthfeel is full, relatively thick, intense, slightly sticky, deep and rich. A successful concoction. 🖤🖤 Probably not the best choice for a thirst quencher but a good choice for now anyway.

On kahvia, mokkaa...tuoksussa ja maussa. Olisko jo tän festien vika vahva olut tai ainakin seuraava vois olla hieman miedompi. Miellyttävä tämä ja nämä muutkin on ollut.

Mustaa. Ruskea vaahto. Tuoksu paahteinen ja kaakaoinen. Maku paahteinen, kahvinen ja suklainen. Miellyttävä olut.
