Medium light and medium dry plus body. Sweetness and sourness of a berry juice. Redberries mostly on the body.
Aftertaste adds distinct taste of cherries, not missing the redberries. After a bit warming some faint yeast tones are there also.
Easy, yet still pretty good. Hard to say have the aging done it something, at least there seems not to be too much layering yet due to that. Might have to buy another one to try the aging.

Kirsikkainen ja hapokas ensipuraisu. Kuivahko runko. Hivenen hiivainen loppuliuku.

Is it like Kriek? We'll see soon. This is vintage 2023. The only vintage that exists. Is it indicative of something? 😅
The beer wears lucid vermilion. The carbonation is considerably less vivid than I thought. A moderate lacing pops up on the surface for a couple of seconds and then it's gone with the wind.
The scent is medium-sweet: cherry jam and a twist of cranberry. Wild yeast is detectable but seriously introverted. The baseline is soft biscuity.
Cherry juice has lost the sweetness on the tongue. Furthermore, it's somewhat thin, as if diluted with too much water. However, cherry is not the only red berry here. I also spot cranberry, redcurrant and rowanberry. Wild yeast diminishes further in the mouth and remains quite far from the level of Kriek.
The body is surprisingly light for the ABV. Yes, beers of this kind don't often portray big bodies but it should be at least a bit bolder than this. Sour cherry in the end.
Feels light minus, juicy, acidic, a tad tart and dry. And relatively flat. Funkiness is almost zero.
Tastewise, more like a Sour Ale than a Wild Ale. Definitely not Lambicky. I appreciate the idea of brewing a Finnish Wild Ale (hence, +0.3 stars extra) although this doesn't quite reach the target.

Punertavanruskea väriltään, olematon vaahtokukka ja kirsikkainen tuoksu. Ensipuraisu kirsikkainen, jälkimaku hapahko. Sopii hyvin huhtikuun ensimmäisen lauantaisaunan jälkiseuraksi.
