Tuoksussa suklaata ja kahvia. Ohuen kahvinen, hieman jopa vetinen runko. Pinnalla omenaisuutta, joka sekoittuu mietoon kaakaoon. Tölkin kyljessä mainitut karamelli, suklaa ja vanilja loistavat enimmäkseen poissaolollaan. Hieman hapan omena jää jälkimakuna pyörimään suuhun. Prosenteista ei tietoakaan. Ihan juotava kokonaisuus, mutta ei muuta. Iso pettymys.

Näin heikkoa, vai sanoisinko huonoa, Kees IS:ia en ole varmaan aikaisemmin juonutkaan🤔 Eilispäivän nokipannu kahvia kalaämpärin vedestä keitettynä. 3 pistettä siitä, että kalaakaan ei ilmeisesti tullut. No ei tämä läpi paska ollut, kevyttä appelsiiniäkin löytyi. Tuskin kuitenkaan toista tarvinnee ikuna juoda. Pari kymmenystä lisää.

Advent Calendar Beer #️⃣2️⃣3️⃣. Another edition of the "Caramel Fudge Stout" series. The beer wears an opaque, bright black dress. The carbonation is subdued but manages to kick up a cappuccino-colored head that falls short of two fingers. The short retention kills the foamy lid completely. The nose loves the soft candy-like aromas: latte macchiato, milk chocolate, vanilla, lactose, caramel and butterscotch. And a hint of apple, not apple mash, nor jam but rather fresh sour apple, and maybe even a bit of peel, too. The gustatory segment is a tad coffeeish, slightly bitter and definitely not like sweet latte macchiato at all. A bit of dark caramel, raw chocolate, distant tobacco and burned malt complete the journey this time. The body is light-medium. Can't impress me, the ABV is, anyway, as high as 11.5 %. The end is moderately bitter coffeeish and marginally burned. The mouthfeel is light-medium, slightly tangy, burned, relatively smooth but also drying. Well... the ABV should have offered more, now this remains rather limited to the potential. Similarly, both the caramel fudge and appelstroop (apple syrup) fail to become true on the tastebuds. Hence, the outcome is far from what it should be if the name is something to judge on.
