Reilusti makeaa hedelmäisyyttä. Greippi maistuu myös selvästi. Kuivaa katkeroisuutta on mukana aika paljon, joten kokonaisuus menee enemmän kuivan puolelle. Jälkimaussa on pientä hopburnia.

Omnipollo has recently made several beers using other people's recipes and logos. This is part of the Freaky Friday series, which Other Half also did around their birthdays. Now, it's the turn of a very good brewery, Green Cheek's classic beer. The color of this beer is absolutely wonderful! The aroma is quite sweet. The smell doesn't promise much. The mouthfeel is medium-carbonated, dry, firm, juicy, bitter, and prickly. However, it is very drinkable and very easy to drink. The taste includes citrus, grapefruit, a bit of hop burn, stone fruits, and grass. The aftertaste leaves a relatively soft grapefruit, grassy, and slightly hop-burnt flavor in the mouth. This doesn't quite reach the level of Green Cheek, but there's an effort. Remove the hop burn and balance the flavor palette a bit more, and it would have been really good. _________________ Omnipollo on viime aikoina tehnyt useampia oluita muiden reseptillä ja logolla. Eli tätä Freeky Friday - sarjaa, jota myös mm. Other Half on tehnyt synttäreidensä aikoihin. Nyt vuorossa tosi hyvä panimon Green Cheekin klassikko-olut. Aivan upea väri tässä oluessa! Aika makeahko tuoksu. Tuoksu ei lupaile kovinkaan paljoa. Suutuntuma on keskihiilihappoinen, kuiva, ryhdikäs, mehuinen, karvas ja pistelevä. Juotavuus on kuitenkin tosi hyvä. Erittäin helppo juoda. Maussa sitrusta, greippiä, hieman hopburnia, kivihedelmiä ja ruohoa. Jälkimaku jättää suuhun suhteellisen pehmeän greippisen, ruohoisen ja hieman hopburnisen maun. Ei tämä nyt Green Cheekin tasolle kyllä ihan nouse, mutta on tässä yritystä. Hopburn pois ja makupaletti vähän tasapainoisemmaksi niin olisi ollut tosi hyvä.

I’ve wanted to try a beer from Green Cheek for a long time. A freaky friday Omnipollo version isn't the real deal, but let’s try. Aroma: Mild citrus & mango. A tone of oat & wheat. Taste: Really soft & easy drinking for a TDH 8,5% DIPA! Citrus in many variants is the main flavor. Mango. A touch of oats & wheat shines thru. This beer is very similar to those other Freaky Friday Citra- DIPA’s Omnipollo has brewed the last year or so. Just saying.
