Un fort gushing à l'ouverture, en bouche on a des notes herbacées, une pointe résineuse, l'amertume finale, bien que peu prononcée, est très agréable, la bière est légère et désaltérante,elle manque toutefois d'un brin de folie.

Light beer with a sweet malty aftertaste. Not enough hoppy to my taste

Back to the Advent Calendar Beers. It's the turn of #️⃣1️⃣3️⃣. The beer is a Helles. Not necessarily a typical Advent Calendar beer but why not? The color is surprisingly hazy, amber. A velvety head covers the top up to the level of three fingers. A neat cotton ring and a haze waft much longer on the surface. The scent is surprisingly herbal and a tad grassy with a bitter malty undertone. Not particularly inviting, especially in this beerstyle. The tongue gets a bit confusing herbal cocktail of dry grass, pine needle, whitepepper and bitter malt. Okay but not too inspiring anyway. The body is relatively light. The end carries forward the same dry-imitating nuances as before. Still can't boost my inspiration. The mouthfeel is light minus, herbal, spiced, piney, dry and drying. Nah, not a winner. But I'm not surprised as it's Friday the 13th.

Easy to drink, would benefit from eating something with it.
