A Duo Saturday with Ryan and family while watching the Houston Texans play the Chargers. We're going to make this a Prairie Sour Saturday. Beer one is made with Nerd candy, I'm not really familiar with this confection. Using our Prairie glass, it's got the strangest color. Gold and a shade of green. This may be the ugliest beer I've ever seen in a glass. Has a sweet candy aroma. Soft creamy texture. Sweet, a soft gentle candy type sweetness that I can't really describe. A bit of a tartness arrives late that just adds to this flavor. Don't taste any of the alcohol. More like drinking a sweet cola that has extra body to it. If this is what sour beers are becoming, I'm okay with it. I like this in a childish way.
