TDH Geometric Galaxy
8.5% New England DIPA / Hazy Imperial IPA
Hey, folks, we are back again for another round of "fun with shapes" and what pairs better with games than the delicious TDH Geometric Galaxy! What's that you ask? Well, we took the delicious double dry-hopped version and amped up the flavor with an additional dose of Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, & Nelson to give you one marvelous TDH Hazy DIPA. Scents of ripe berry, and diesely guava on the nose beam you in a straight line towards obtuse amounts of passion fruit, tropical mango, and freshly zested orange. While you cannot fit a square peg in a round hole, you can drink this beer fresh and Professor Hop-Fu! insists that you do!

BEER: TDH Geometric Galaxy BREWERY: North Park Beer Co. BEER STYLE: NEDIPA COUNTRY: USA ABV.: 8.5% COLOUR (EBC): Straw (4.0) BITTERS (EBU/IBU): - AROMA: Yeap. This one offers hefty amount of Mosaic. Mouthdroolingly much so. Sistant berries, twigs, hop oils along with what not. HEAD: Barely exceeds one finger height, yet it is creamy and fluffy. Leaves off with sugar lacing on the sides of glass. GREY’S VIEW Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, Citra & Mosaic TDH NEDIPA. First sip is filling and slow to grow. Taste has pine twigs, loads of malts (oat and wheat f.e.), pineapple-mango mash, mixed set of fruitpurée to go with notable level of hop oils and pleasant TDH. Body has elements to it. It's medium plus sized piece with pretty creamy being and nicely filling touch, since the malts grows pretty nicely during the glass. It's quite clearly a somewhat slow sipper. OTHER NOTES: Mmm. It has all the pieces. Yet the creaminess / maltprofile is a tad too overpowering to me. Sense of Mosaic is there and the malts plays really well…but, yeah. CANNED 10/6/2024 TASTED 15/7/2024
