Soft with some notes from Barrels. Quite restrained. HEAD: Nonexistent. GREY’S VIEW Maple syrup & Frozen Waffels flavoured Imperial Stout Barrel Blend Aged in Buffalo Trace & Garrison Brothers Bourbon Barrels. It has good level of different malts at the beginning and then hits the runny chocolate and maple syrup. Some nutty hints there, along with the malts still running strong. Saying to me that the Barrels are present. Drying slowly, creating depth and trying to level the sugary feel. The Barrel doesn't quite reach the level with the overall taste. The sweet nutty flavour is coming through quite prominently. Mmm. Mmyeap. Body has some serious depth to it, while it also carries some influentialy delicious, sugary mixed, somewhat yeasty, yet barrely dryeness to the entirety. OTHER NOTES: Mmkay. It carries depth to it, but the nutty sweetness overpowers pretty close too much of the mainflavours. Interesting piece to anyone to try. BOTTLED Q2 / 2024 TASTED 13/7/2024
