The beer is yellow and hazy. A velvety, clean white head climbs one finger high and dissipates soon to a dense-looking lace ring and a gossamer haze on the top. The retreating foam wraps the inside of the rim with downpouring ornaments. Wheat malt merges with orange zest and peel, dry grass as well as a yeasty slam in the fragrance. But not Belgian yeast. Later, when the beer has gained some warmth, a whitepeppery note steps into the picture. The tongue receives somewhat more bitter flavors, like tangy wheat malt, lemon peel, grass and yeast. The light-bodied beer's end equals its start. The mouthfeel is light, marginally tangy, a bit earthy and slightly musty. Alright... sort of.
