Lunch accompaniments. A Mead... I have tasted this Mead before but this tastes and feels very different: the tap label says 12.7 % but the waiter says 8 %. Surely, this doesn't taste like 12.7 %. Whatever, I'll leave it as it is. Transparent, deep ruby color. A white, slightly pinkish foam. Looks velvety. Blueberry, faint honey, as if sour apple and a floral hint in the fragrance. The taste is really balanced: sour blueberry, red apple, cranberry and a suggestion of hibiscus. Feels light-medium, juicy, faintly tart, acidic, sessionable and summery. This is definitely not the same 12.7 % Mead that I tasted in June 2024. On the other hand, the internet, incl. all the beer apps, don't seem to report any other version of this Mead than the strong one. As said, let it be as it is.

Makea, kevyelti hapotettu. Marjaisa ja kukkainen.

Hah, take a walk on the wild side. And I will! This sounds perverted. My cup of tea. Colors limpid, brilliant vermilion. A pure white head. A floral scent, must be hibiscus. Somewhat perfumy. Blueberry jam escorts the flower. Astonishingly inoffensive taste: blueberry juice is bigger now while the floral note of hibiscus almost disappears in the darkness. Moreover, I can pick other berries, such as cranberry and crowberry. Feels relatively thick in the mouth. I still wouldn't talk about "body" in the case of a Mead. The floral sector grows marginally towards the end. The mouthfeel is thick, sticky, juicy, even moderately jam-like, mouthcoating and marginally warming. Dangerously gulpable.
