Decent enough but nothing overly special, seems like the end of the barrel. Nice malty aroma and taste with a subtle fruitiness mixed in. Slight sweetness to finish but enjoyable. Slight bitter aftertaste. Smooth and easy drinking session ale

Description on Barclip states “Dark Lager”. However, more of an Amber colour in my opinion. A reasonable lager nonetheless with citrus aroma and sweet tasting. Not too bad. JDW Beer Festival, March 2025.

Real ale (yeast is live & kicking) with the description of a dark lager. So it's rather tasty, although hard to describe, a little spicy, the only likeness to a lager being it's crisp & refreshing I'd say.
