Exited from the can like Hershey's chocolate syrup. Almost no head and coats the glass with a heavy tan film. Definitely one of the top three beers ever on thickness. Aroma gives the expected Bourbon barrel along with a super sweet malt. When it enters the mouth, it's confirmed that this is an extremely heavy beer. Extremely sweet, heavy on Bourbon barrel flavor, dark chocolate syrup. Nothing changes as it enters the finish. As to flavor, I have to give this beer a very high score. It's delicious. But it's so sweet and so heavy there's no way I can drink a full 16 oz can. I love Hershey's chocolate syrup, but I can't drink 16 straight oz of it. Ryan believes they left it in the barrel too long and allowed it evaporate too much. I love it but it's too heavy for a 16 oz can. Great rating but I can't finish this. Disappointed I could not use the barcode rating, but I'm not paying for a feature that was part of its original design.
