Whether we imagine it or not, we’ve always had a real thing for hitting the sweet spot on an IPA at the 6.1% mark. Whether it’s that first ever Citra Simcoe released back in a chilly January 2018 as Loka Polly, all the way up to today with modern classics such as Bring Me Home and Wake and Return, we’ve always had an incredible ability to nail our IPA game at this strength. Fever Dream maintains this theory with gusto – paying homage to those starry eyed dreamers that started this brewing journey with three hop varieties that formed the backbone of our brewery, and three newer school varieties that have become house favourites in the years since. Hot side additions of Strata and Citra offset a tropical explosion of cold side additions of El Dorado, Citra, Galaxy, Motueka, Nelson, and Strata. Dank, juicy, hoppy and sweet. Couldn’t be more Polly’s if it tried.
Hops: El Dorado, Galaxy, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, Strata

Bien réussie cette IPA aux belles notes résineuses avec cette amertume tranchante. Pile ce que j'aime. A consommer sans modération

Grapefruit juice and honey coloured hazy brew from the Welsh kings of craft Polly's! On the nose it's a juice and hop bomb in equal measure, giving off aromas of dank weed like hop, apricot, peach, satsuma, gooseberry, coconut, sweet pine and lime.
In the mouth it's the normal Polly's trait of creamy thickness, juicy and chewy, not lacking in carbonation but it's smoothness overrides it, so soft like drinking a pillow of fruit and cream. The finish is quite fast actually and it doesn't end as sweet as it starts, it's almost savoury and salty at the end, but that's probably just the strata dank/pine.
It's very Polly's this brew, the texture and deep hoppy flavour with sweet juice. This is why people like me love them and craft beer. You'll never get this from an ale or a supermarket beer, even Polly's supermarket brews!
Nelson Sauvin isn't dominant in this brew which is good, neither is Motueka, I'd say it's more El Dorado and Strata. It's a five hop salad of joy and balance. A pleasure to drink, whilst you're not gonna be downing this, is morish via it's beautiful taste and texture. It clocks in at 6.1% ABV, so a fairly hefty IPA and with as much flavour as some DIPAs. This is probably the most Polly's IPA I've had, if that makes sense. Quintessential Polly's.
