It's hazy and smells remarkably of apples and custard.
A delicious combination.
The taste is a little muted.
Subtlety is the theme with this one.
The apple and custard flavour is like a ninja, sneaking in under the cover of darkness, dressed as an old woman, with a bag full of knitting and a pocket full of sweets.
Once she's made it past the guards and sentries, she's stuffing a ball of yard down the throat of the unsuspecting target. Throttling them with a strand of pink fluffy wool, and stabbing at their eyes with a knitting needle.
It's subtle but punchy.
A sly dog.
A hint of flavour but not too much.
A tinge of sweetness but with a stubby sharp edge

Interesting beer. Apple Strudel and Custard aroma and flavour. Nice enough but not for a session.

The idea isn't that bad, but the realisation isn't good either. The apple strudel taste is nice, but the beer is too bitter. The contrast is too big. The hop they used or its amount does not fit the other flavours. But: it got potential.
