12.0% Imperial Stout
When we met the Trillium team in California at the inaugural RateBeer Best Fest, we knew we had to find a way to brew together. We decided to craft an immensely complex Imperial Stout. Then came a balanced addition of Madagascar Bourbon vanilla beans and subtle hint of green cardamom to accent a liberal dose of cold brewed chocolaty medium roast from our friends at Kersh. This version comes in a 33 cl bottle while the US version comes in a 75 cl bottle.

Bought like 12 of these in 2016 and still have three bottles left in a cold dark space. This could be my favourite beer ever. Vanilla and cardemum and oily silky texture. Still absolutely delicious when it was aged for two years. Now it's been three years and I feel it has lost some of its "Omnipollo flavours". Instead more of those typical stout flavours with dark chocolate and coffee has taken over. It's still fantastic but not Omnipollo fantastic.

Hyvin maltainen, mukavasti kahvisuutta ja hiivaa, kardemumma maistuu sopivasti. Vaniljaakin ihan hyvin, mutta itse haluaisin enemmän. Alkoholi puskee vähän liikaa läpi.
