Stopping in Houston on our way to Whiskey River Ranch and this years SOTS reunion. Second beer to share ( no Duo needed! ) This is a stout, no frills. Aroma is lightly sweet, modestly roasted, smooth. Texture is both soft and gentle. Flavor has an easy-going sweetness, a touch of molasses to go along with a mild roasted flavor. So simple, so undemanding. Nothing fancy or flavors added. A great basic sweet roasted Stout that can be modified in many ways or enjoyed just as a damn good unmodified stout. Wonderful!!
