Flight 2/4. Semicloudy, orange beer with a thick, moussy, cloud-white head. Extraordinarily long retention. Interestingly, this West Coast DIPA gives as much NE flavors as the previous Session NEIPA. The olfactory composition is also here weak. I still manage to capture grapefruit but nothing else. The tastebuds pick grapefruit zest, a tad grapefruit peel, lemon pulp and pine resin. West Coast with an East Coastish twist. The body is medium. The end comes gradually with similar citrusy and slightly resinous flavors as upfront. Still not a massive IBU bomb. The mouthfeel is medium, a bit crisp and zesty. Decent. It's also a bit dry and drying. The set is improving...
