What a beautiful day to enjoy a really good Boulevard Limited Edition with Ryan. He sent me back from Texas with some damn good beers.
Once I opened the bottle, strong rum flavor emanated. Rather short head, small bubbles, medium brown. Texture is so soft, so velvetly, easy on the pallet. Smooth to the extreme. Flavor immediately brings mild rum barrel blended with cinnamon, sweet cane sugar and an abundance of winter time spice. Well blended, balanced, soft and smooth. Stays the same through the finish which is fine with me. I could drink a ton of these but, what? 12.7%? Where did that come from? I don't taste any of it. Totally hidden, no burn whatsoever. My first beer of the day so it's not that I'm acclimated already. By far the best Imperial brown ale I've had.
