I love Boulevard Brewing Company so much that I flew out to Kansas City to visit them. What a fantastic trip Ryan and I had. Going to see the Kansas City Chiefs play was an extra bonus given to us by Russ. I have read the reviews before I tried this. It's too sweet, it's Count Chocula, it tastes like cardboard, burnt sugar with cough syrup, burnt cinnamon rolls and 7-Eleven artificial coffee creamer. They're wrong. I love sweet decadent dessert stouts. I like Irish whiskey. I like Irish cream, like Bailey's. I love the softness of nitro beers. Did I leave anything out? This beer has all those, strong but not overpowering, each expected flavor is present, none feel artificial, and the nitro softness is the perfect addition to elevate the Irish Cream to a new level. Am I biased on this review? You bet I am! Everybody has certain things they love about the flavors and qualities of beer. This one happened to hit almost all of mine. Is it trash for you? I don't care. It's great to me!

Surprisingly, still a very good stout that I have had over the years. The taste of expresso, chocolate, vanilla with a hint of plums and figs and malt. This is a good stout, also with hint of whiskey, you can aged this stout as well.
