The nose is mostly lemon but there is a fishy scent to it. The taste again is lemon but in the aftertaste it does taste like you've eaten a scampi fry. It is a actually a nice beer and I could definitely have more than one. I tried it along with a packet of scampi fries for comparison and there is definitely similarity.

There's a definite scampi fry aroma, a lot of lemon at the end Probably not gonna see a Yankee candle edition of this one.... This is probably one of the few times I've been hesitant In trying a beer.... But here we go.... for science. It's weirdly refreshing.... It's quite a light tasting beer... With lemon being the most prominent flavour..... Scampi fry flavour is there (not sure I want it to be but then I did order a scampi beer) probably would have rather gone for a 330ml if they made one... there's only so much fruity crustacean juice I can drink. All in all, it's an April fools edition beer.... Is it nice? Kind of? Would I buy it again? No. It's very good at imitating the flavour and I do respect that but it's a one and done beer for me. Il give it a 3.1 for the creativity, the fact they captured the flavours so accurately and the fact that it is good at being what it is.
