Aika raju, jopa tyly.

Now something interesting! Traditional Lambic, a difficult-to-access beerstyle but even the more intriguing. I hope.
The color is limpid, deep raisin brown. Looks very dark given this has no fruits, berries, flavorings, or anything. Carbonation is almost nonexistent. Applaudable! I would have been disappointed had a Lambic that was brewed nine years ago (in 2013, bottled in 2019), been sparkling. It just can't be. No. Therefore, the surface is still from the very start.
Sniffing the beer... Silky as hell! But confusing! I pick date and a whisper of raisin, medium-sweet juicy red apple, a suggestion of biscuit. What is this?? Cranberry, as well. Even remote caramel. What? Is?? This??? Wild yeast, of course, and some port. Is there also vanilla in the shadows? Wow, this gives layers. Just adorable! 🤎🤎🤎
The gustatory provision includes, indeed, date and raisin, not in abundance but so that I can recognize them without hesitation. I thought that I could also get red wine — maybe because of the color — but I don't. Rather nicely aged port albeit thin. Truly distant vanilla, cranberry, damson, rowanberry, wild yeast for sure. But no apple, no biscuit, not sure about caramel either. Probably not that one either. This is getting interesting!
The body is light-medium. Smaller than the ABV would suggest but, on the other hand, Lambics don't tend to be full-bodied. The finish is sour, like fermented damson, date, raisin, yeast. Portwine, yes!
The mouthfeel is light-medium, extraordinarily silky, tart, puckering but not really acidic. Flat instead. Barrel aged, vinous in a perverted way, layered, deep, rich and very round. Slightly lip-glueing. Moderately funky and Belgiany. Elegant slow sipper. Pure enjoyment. 🤎🤎🤎
