Flight 4/4. Lucid, copper beer with an off-white, creamy head. Fairly applaudable retention.
Faintly malty fragrance. Is there toffee? Caramel? This is interesting. The fruits are substantially overripe, at the fringe of getting fermented, small injections of mandarin, orange, honeydew. Resin, of course, in moderation.
The flavor package is hefty. Love it. 🧡🧡 Bigger and smaller nuances of caramel, toffee, honey and honeydew find their way to the taste receptors. Resin is aggressive but not bleeding. Somewhat biscuity even. Strong malt. Good. Not sure if this entirely fulfils the criteria of a TIPA, at least not either a WC or EC version of it as such, rather a hybrid. Palatable! 🧡🧡
The body is medium-full. Could be bigger given this is a TIPA. I'll manage. The finish is ripe fruity and resinous. Nothing different.
The mouthfeel is medium-full, a bit crisp, smooth, relatively soft anyway. Not really juicy but it doesn't need to be. Not really old-school either. Hybrid-ish-ish. Best of the four.
