The pour:
Pours like tad orange, not very
translucent pineapplejuice.
Pure white foamhead with lacelike
layer of teenyweeny bubbles
that dies down rather quickly.
The palate:
Very light maltness in the taste,
like watered-down oatmilk
(not in a bad way!) and weisse-ish
wheaty citruscream gives room
for more delicate, fruity notes.
Faintly gooseberryish, long, light
coconut body with a pineapple splash.
Does not "feel" like a DIPA.
The after:
Hopped very modestly and fresh
to support the light body, no bitter
herb surprises pop up to give that
dry mouth feel this time. Blissful!
The verdict:
A very pleasant, light, wheaty and
coconutwatery DIPA with a sweet,
long finish that lacks most of the
bitter, herbal hop notes.
A very solid 3.6 out of 5.
The excuse:
- missing some of my ability to
smell due to excessive snorkeling so
"the nose" will be excluded this time :)

Nice uniform design on the can reminds me that I can expect quality from this brand.
Poured well from the can and left a straw yellow body, thick with creamy haze and a half finger of robust white foam.
The scent really delivers as advertised, a hit of citrus, like a baseline, with berries on top, like a meringue dessert. If the nose is allowed to linger a little longer, coconut starts to simmer to the surface, as if from nowhere and completely bypasses the citrus to form a new base.
The mouthfeel is foamy upfront which actually goes someway to easing the weight of the body of this hefty DIPA. There is a gentle carbonation behind all this, with a slight feeling of bubbles on the tongue, but this is fleeting compared to the foam and quickly swamped by the warmth of the 7.4%.
The taste starts with a foundation of citrus and coconut duking it out, very exotic. Then the profile of berries return, bringing everything back to a more European sweetness. This shouldn't work but it does, the berries stop short of being tart so they don't dominate and instead work very well with the coconut.
This felt like a fresh new kick in an otherwise familiar territory. I would recommend it to one and all.

Thick beer with a lovely frothy head. Full of really powerful stone fruit flavours and aromas. Cracking beer đ»

Decent DIPA from Croatia. Hazy usual citrus flavours and hints of berry. I like what I have had from this brewery.
