Of course Ryan included a Shiner beer for our Duos. Definitely one of my favorite breweries. Extremely high head, almost lost it going out of the top of the snifter glass. Once it settled down it showed a crystal clear red copper color. Strong sweet aroma of vanilla extract. Texture is soft and creamy and yet still very light. Flavor is definitely vanilla with faint traces of amaretto to give it the slightest exotic trait. Add a touch of mild breakfast coffee and that's it. No middle no finish. What you got in the first sip travels straight through to the end. This is a decent beer, I liked it, but nothing particularly special. I wouldn't go out of my way to have it again but definitely worth a try.
