My nightcap. Called "Night Curse". I wonder why...
Pours... OMG! 😳 lucid, deep forest green. Does this contain uranium or what? Carbonation is active (but hopefully not radioactive), it unleashes a milky green head that rises mere half a finger tall. Soon the top displays a hair-thin ring only.
The scent is awkward for a beer: apple, pear and kiwifruit. Is this cider or what? Confusing.
The taste fools me more: I anticipate sweet fruits but don't get any. Instead, I pick lemon zest, a drop of orange juice and green grape. There's a hoppy element to observe but relatively moderate though.
The body is thin. The end is slightly citrusy, not too bitter but actually quite tame. The aftertaste's headlamp flashing close by, banging eyes, fireflies, drip in burst 'gainst the keening lean, of my night curse.
The mouthfeel is thin, zesty and refreshing. The beer looks odd but is not that innovative anyway. Quaffable. The label categorizes this as a "Low-alcohol Tropical XPA". Not particularly tropical in my opinion.
