2022 Christmas Advent Beer 18. I didn’t read the label at all, just saw Mosaic and assumed this was my first pale beer of this year’s advent. What a surprise to see a jet black beer pour out of the can! So, this is a cracking beer. It’s got a lot in common with a cascadian dark ale but then it’s got a really robust roasty malt backbone. It’s got a big fruity hop character too. Coffee, chocolate and hints of smoke. Citrus and sticky resinous pine. Love it!
