This limited version of Necessary Evil has been aged in Pedro Ximénez barrels for 8 months. The classic sweet flavours of raisins and dates from the sherry provide an extra layer of intricacy to this award-winning beer Best served around 10-12°C, so take out of the fridge for a while before serving. Whilst this beer will age well, there is no time like the present, so we recommend opening and enjoying it as soon as possible.

OLUT: Necessary Evil - PX PANIMO: Thornbridge Brewery OLUTTYYPPI: Imperial Stout (BA) MAA: Englanti VAHVUUS (ABV): 13.0% VÄRI (EBC): Erittäin Tummanruskea (70.0) KATKEROT (EBU/IBU): - TUOKSU: Punamarjainen, punaviinimäinen, kuiva, hieman alkoholinen. Lämmittävä. VAAHTO: Lähes olematon. GREY’S VIEW 8kk:tta Pedro Ximénez Sherry BA IS. Maku on alkuun lähes kuivan punaviinimäinen. Hieman etäistä mallasta, tammea, rypälettäkin tuolla mehustamassa. Vieno vaniljamainen kate rakentuu suuhun, mutta kuriositeetin tasoiseksi se jää. Runko on punaviinimäinen, puolikuiva, helpohko, marjaisa. MUUTA MAINITTAVAA: Hauska tuo nyt kuitenkin on vaikka syvyys jääkin puolitiehen. Punaviini-IS hybridi se on ja en suosittele kuin kokeilunhaluisimmille tämän ollessa tämän ikäistä. Ripauksenverran mokkakahvinväristä nopeastilaskevaa vaahtoa erittäin tummanruskean hiukkasen valoaläpipäästävän oluen yllä joka tuoksuu makean luumuisen rusinaisen paahteisen maltaiselle ja maistuu makean lempeän rapsahtavan paahteisen tuhkaisen ripauksenverran chilisen lämmittävän alkoholisen lupsakalta, neljä bojoa.
