I will start by saying. I always have high expectations when I have a beer from kees and they always exceed them. If you have had the pleasure to try any of the notorious Aecht Schlenkerla smoked beers then this beer will sit well with you. The smokiness to it is pretty upfront straight into a chilli kick which (personally) isn't at all hot but leaves a nice warm feeling in the throat. Like a smoked chilli chocolate ☺️ The mouthfeel is smooth, velvety and thick which helps with all the flavours.. the flavours cling to the palate. Perfect beer for a cold night 5/5 hands down.
