At the end of 2021, Polly's has brewed a trio of beers celebrating the brewery's favourite hop varietals. The warehouse team have been enchanted by NZ hop Motueka this year, digging how well the noble hop's lively and zesty lemon and lime characteristics work off the intense tropical punchbowl of new school stone fruit notes. A beer that balances that fine line between DDH flavour intensity, and smashable pint sinkability.

Wasn't liking this at first - the motueka is very creamy and gives a funky bite.
Luckily, this subdued as it warmed up and became much more enjoyable.

Looks so hazy and dank
It just looks so pleasing, I could actually just stare at this
No discernible aroma
The first taste is like a hoppy pillow, so soft and light.
The first taste is subtle citrus and stone fruits, like peach or apricot.
The aftertaste is quite dry and light on the bitterness.
It leaves my mouth begging for more.
This is going down quicker than your mum after a night on BabyCham and no change left for a bag of Chips.
This is why I love beer, this is so simple in its taste, but in a complex well crafted way.
I wish I had ordered more than one, this could become my fave beer at the moment.
I’m now going online and ordering more.
Get this in your life.

This is a belter!
Key lime pie in liquid format. Very light and fluffy in the mouth, but with intense lime zest and stone fruit characteristics, both in flavour and aroma. Goes down far too easily though, was gone in minutes few.

Pale golden/amber hue, no visible carbonation through the opaque haze. Deep stone fruit positioned against citrus aromas.
Silky smooth and very soft with light body and a fast finish. There is no citrus stab or funk tang to this brew, it's clean and creamy. Apricots and cream with a lime zest suggestion! Peach and plum make an appearance too.
Exceptionally smooth, soft and drinkable with a fair amount of intensity but at 6% it could have been bigger and richer. Let's put it down to excellent alcohol obscuring by this brews quality. Double dry hop single hop Motueka, showcasing the prized New Zealand hop as a gentle cousin to Simcoe with finesse. I'm starting to get a beautiful after taste in the finish like peach and coconut cream and the DDH nature is increasing with time. Beautiful.
